Where I Stand on the Issues

Families in Indiana deserve leaders who focus on real problems — not partisan games. These are the issues I’m focused on and the values that guide my decisions as I work to put people ahead of politics.

Lowering Costs for Indiana Families

Everything costs more — groceries, gas, housing, and healthcare — but paychecks haven’t kept up.

Families across Indiana are doing everything right and still falling behind. Rising everyday costs have made it harder for working families to save, plan, and feel secure, even when they’re working full time and playing by the rules.

That’s not a failure of effort. It’s a failure of leadership.

I believe lowering costs starts with common-sense decisions that put working families first — not special interests or partisan talking points. Government should focus on practical solutions that help people get ahead, reduce financial pressure, and make life more affordable for the families who keep our communities running.

These priorities are backed by clear, practical policies focused on lowering everyday costs.

Healthcare That Works for Patients

Access to affordable, quality healthcare shouldn’t depend on your job, your income, or your ZIP code

Healthcare should put patients first, not insurance companies or bureaucracy. Too many families delay care, skip treatment, or worry about medical bills even when they have insurance.

I believe in a healthcare system that focuses on prevention, affordability, and access — one that treats healthcare as a public good and supports providers who spend time caring for patients, not filling out paperwork.

When healthcare works, families are healthier, costs go down, and communities are stronger. We should be focused on solutions that expand access, reduce waste, and make care more affordable for everyone.

This approach is supported by practical healthcare policies focused on access, affordability, and outcomes.

Jobs, Wages, and the Economy

Hard work should lead to stability, opportunity, and a fair shot at getting ahead.

Indiana’s economy works best when people who work hard can build a stable life, support their families, and feel confident about the future. Too many jobs don’t pay enough to keep up with rising costs, even as productivity and profits grow.

I believe in an economy that rewards work, supports small businesses, and invests in skills and training so workers can adapt and succeed in a changing world. Economic growth should benefit communities, not just corporations or those at the top.

When wages are fair and opportunity is real, families are stronger, local businesses thrive, and our economy becomes more resilient for the long term.

These goals are supported by policies focused on fair wages, workforce investment, and long-term economic growth.

Education That Prepares Kids for the Future

Preparing students for the world they’re growing up in.

Strong schools are the foundation of strong communities. Indiana’s students deserve an education that builds core skills while also preparing them for the realities of the modern economy.

Technology — including artificial intelligence — is already changing how we work, learn, and communicate. Our schools should help students understand these tools, use them responsibly, and develop the critical thinking skills that technology can’t replace. That means teaching problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, and digital literacy alongside traditional subjects.

I believe in supporting teachers, investing in classrooms, and expanding access to career and technical education so students can explore multiple paths to success — whether that’s college, skilled trades, or emerging fields shaped by new technology. When we prepare kids for the future, we strengthen our workforce, our economy, and our communities.

These priorities are backed by education policies focused on real-world skills and future-ready learning.

Honest, Accountable Government

Government should work for the people — not special interests, party bosses, or political insiders.

Trust in government has been eroded because too often people see politicians focused on power, partisan fights, or self-interest instead of solving real problems. Families deserve leaders who are accountable, transparent, and focused on results.

I believe in common-sense ethics, transparency, and holding elected officials to the same standards as everyone else. Public service should be about listening to constituents, telling the truth, and making decisions based on what’s best for the community — not who has the most money or influence.

When government is honest and accountable, people have more confidence in our institutions, policies work better, and democracy is stronger for everyone.

This commitment is backed by clear policies focused on transparency, accountability, and results.
